Pam Anderson does what she does best with designer Richie Rich

Swimsuit lover Pamela Anderson has been making quite the rounds in the fashion industry lately. First she appeared in Vivienne Westwood’s campaign and now she’s walking down runways… with barely any clothing.

Anderson took to Air New Zealand Fashion Week in nothing more than a hot pink g-string, heels, and a barely-there shawl, promoting a line she worked on with Heatherette fashion designer Richie Rich (who rollerskated next to her down the catwalk).

Emma Watson for People TreeOverseeing designs and adding input is serious work. That just may be why Emma Watson attended every design meeting for her fashion range.

The Harry Potter actress has teamed up with People Tree for a new ethical clothing range and was keen to have as much input into the collection as possible.

Antony Waller at People Tree said, “Emma attended every single design meeting over the five-month process. She doesn’t want to be known as a designer but wanted to give her input and ideas wherever she could.”

Emma, 19, wanted to launch a fashion range aimed at 16 to 24-year-olds, but wanted to do something that was environmentally-friendly.

Anthony added, “Emma has a big interest in fashion but she’s also passionate about the environment and humanitarian causes. She approached us directly about creating a line to combine these two ideas. Obviously she is the target buyer age herself so she can relate to them and knows what they want to wear.”

Dita Von Teese launches her latest Wonderbra lineThe oh-so multi-talented Dita Von Teese launched her latest line for Wonderbra last Wednesday.

The burlesque dancer was dressed in a low-cut black dress and elbow-length leather gloves as she revealed her latest designs for the lingerie giant.

She posed on a chaise longue at London’s Dorchester Hotel with models, who were sported the new “party edition” line of lingerie, at her side.

The new Wonderbra range features lingerie inspired by the 40s and 50s and boasts five styles including the Multi Teese Party Edition bra and thong set, with elegant velvet straps, bow detail and sequins. Other items include a vintage-style red and black high suspender belt, black lace bra and knickers set, and a red and black cleavage-enhancing bra with lace detail and a ribbon bow.

Speaking about the range, Dita said, “I’ve always wanted to do something with lingerie and it was important for the finished product to be something I would wear myself.” Dita signed up with Wonderbra in 2008 and launched her first range last September.

Annie Leibovitz for Louis VuittonFamed photographer Annie Leibovitz is trying her hand at designing for Louis Vuitton.

Leibovitz has joined a host of other famous faces who are creating a new piece of luggage for the luxury brand to help raise money for Red Cross. Annie’s bag takes the form of a backpack lined in red, complete with several different pockets to make transporting camera equipment easier.

British artist Damien Hirst, famed for artworks that featured dead animals preserved in formaldehyde, has also created a piece—his is a big black trunk featuring drawers to store the surgical equipment he uses for his artworks.

Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs has also got in on the action, creating a trunk to put his dogs in so they can fly with him on planes. The specially-created items will be sold at London’s Sotheby’s auction house on November 17.

The sale is to mark 150 years of the Red Cross, a charity which aims to help people worldwide without discrimination.

Enrique Iglesias in Azzaro Pour Homme's campaign

Treading right behind Hayden Christensen for Lacoste and Justin Timberlake for Givenchy, Enrique Iglesias lends his famous face to the men’s fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme.

Steven Klein shot the campaign; if the rest of it is anything like this image, I would say that they were clearly going for a modern-day Don Juan look. The fragrance is expected to sell in selected Macy’s stores.

To me, this is nothing new for Enrique—doesn’t he look like this in all of his videos?

Diaper panties invade runways

Okay, seriously, Lady Gaga, what have you done?

Spring/Summer ‘10 collections saw the propagation of the anti-pants revolution, which you can clearly see in the image above (from left: Alexander Wang, Prada, Prada, and Duckie Brown).

I realize that it gets quite hot during Spring and Summer seasons; however, wearing what The Cut is now dubbing “diaper panties” is just plain wrong. I realize that we’re in a recession and that designers like these are most likely relying on less fabric, but come on!

Victoria Beckham DOES eat!Usually one to keep her cool and ignore the petulant rumors regarding her weight, Victoria Beckham is finally speaking out after a whirlwind of photographs of her at London Fashion Week surfaced, fueling the topic yet again.

“I am fine—happy and healthy. It’s irresponsible when people obsess about my shape and size. I appreciate there are young girls and women who look at me as a role model and it is untrue to say I do not eat and I am unhealthy.”

Still not convinced? The well-received fashion designer points out several things in her life that she wouldn’t have the ability to pursue had she truly not been in good health: “I have a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle and plenty of energy to run after my three energetic boys and travel the world managing my fashion business.”

Girl power!

Christopher Kane's flat almost burned down over pizzaChristopher Kane almost burned his house down after his fashion show on Monday!

The Scottish designer, who has made costumes for Kylie Minogue, was extremely tired and hungry after showcasing his latest designs at London Fashion Week, but his boyfriend’s attempts at feeding them nearly ended in disaster.

“I was knackered when we got back to the flat so I went to bed. My boyfriend put a pizza in the oven, because we were all starving, but then he fell asleep too. I woke up and thought, ‘Why can I smell burning pastry?’ It was the pizza and there was smoke everywhere. It’s OK now but I still haven’t eaten. I’m starving.”

Christopher is also looking forward to having a relaxing holiday in the next few weeks: “Well, we’ll show the collection this week to a few key people and then we’re off to Paris for sales. There’s a lot to do just now but in a few weeks we’ll go on holiday. I don’t know where yet—I don’t care really, as long as it’s hot!”
